Ominous date. Ominous times. Indeed, ominous space. It’s a doozie this time around. But it’s been known for some time now. NASA told us about it, so it can’t be all that bad, now, can it?
They call them “X-points or electron diffusion regions”. We call them ‘Star Gates’ (well, at least for now, since they are still fairly new technology to us and are quite dazzling to behold, but I’m sure in a matter of years, it would be just plain old star gates, without the capital letters or the bold or the italics).

Try not to hang out near the portal areas people. It’s going to be a busy day today and the intersections can get clogged up with traffic. Folks might bump into you on their way about the corridors of space-time. But don’t turn your backs because you just might also get accidentally jostled by folks going about their business from the opposite direction, through time-space. In fact, unless you have business out and about, I’d just as soon stay home. You never know who you might meet.
