May the Force be with You!

We’ve all heard about the power of the Tao and how Master Taoists are able to tap into this force to do superhuman feats of strength and what seems like pure wizardry magic. We’ve also heard that there is so much power and force within the Tao, that if we only knew how, we could tap into its powers to change our reality—but the most perplexing question is, where is this power coming from?

I have a sneaky suspicion that the answer lies in the duality nature of the Tao. Heaven and Earth. Yin and Yang. The Creative and The Receptive. This is the very essence of the Tao because this is where the power of the Tao is manifest—between the inter-dimensional interactions of the complementary pairs.

The Tao Te Ching talks about the power that is manifest via this inter-dimensional interaction between the complementary parts in Chapter 5.

Chapter 5 – Tao Te Ching

Heaven and Earth are impartial
They regard myriad things as straw dogs
The sages are impartial
They regard people as straw dogs

The space between Heaven and Earth
Is it not like a bellows?
Empty, and yet never exhausted
It moves, and produces more

Too many words hasten failure
Cannot compare to keeping to the void

Think of this section of Chapter 5 in terms of how zero point energy works. Scientists have found that unlimited amounts of energy is freely and readily available in between the planck length of the atom, as higher and higher levels of dimensions are reached, and it is the interaction of the complementary pairs going up and down (moves) the various levels of dimensions that allows for massive unlimited energy to be released (produces more).

Although we cannot define the process, we do have the ability to see it in action via some interesting side-effects that it gives off– electricity, gravity, magnetism, and time. We can measure all of these with some level of accuracy, and the proportions of these ‘side effects’ at any given moment defines the actual movements and the dimensions that these energy movements are affecting.

I think that the ancient sages were able to see time, much like we can see light. They wrote the I Ching and gave this great gift to us so that we could have the opportunity to also see the time lines, thereby allowing us humans to be able to manipulate and create or re-create our own realities. They identified the source of the energy at the root of Heaven and Earth.

Chapter 6 – Tao Te Ching

The valley spirit, undying
Is called the Mystic Female
The gate of the Mystic Female
Is called the root of Heaven and Earth
It flows continuously, barely perceptible
Utilize it; it is never exhausted

Think of the root of Heaven and Earth as a huge old tree with lots of branches above the ground and lots of gnarled roots below the ground. The interactions between the branches and the roots flow through the trunk of the tree, which represents the spaces in between the Planck length.  The energy from the roots flow upward to nourish the branches and the energy from photosynthesis on the branches flow back down to nourish the roots. One cannot exist without the other, but with both, in their proper place, they give off energy that can be harnessed by harvesting their fruits, leaves, bark, and even by burning their branches.

Bear up with me. All this does tie in quite beautifully with Chapter 4 of the Ta Chuan:

Chapter 4 – Ta Chuan

The Book of Changes contains the measure of heaven and earth; therefore it enables us to comprehend the tao of heaven and earth and its order.

The union of seed and power produces all things; the escape of the soul brings about change. Through this we come to know the conditions of outgoing and returning spirits.

This all ties in with the fixed nature of the earth and the constantly moving nature of the heavens, and in fact, is how we are able to predict the movements of the dots and thereby, enact any changes required to co-create our reality.

The way to do it is to look at the dots, not in a cosmic way, but in a quantum fashion.
